Join us on May 8 for Troopers in the Field at Ariepeka Preserve, a special nature-based homeschool field trip in Hernando County. We’ll be joined by a guest educator from CREW Land & Water Trust for a hands-on exploration of Florida’s coastal ecosystems.
Children will use dip nets, discovery scopes, trays, field guides, and water quality kits to observe aquatic life and investigate the health of the watershed. We’ll also enjoy a short hike and activities focused on watershed conservation, wildlife habitat, and environmental stewardship.
