Spring Season is here at Palmetto + Pine!
Our nature-based homeschool enrichment program in Brooksville, Florida is now welcoming families from Hernando County, Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee, and the Central Florida area. Kids explore the outdoors through hands-on learning, creative projects, and child-led discovery—all while building community.

Dip Net Field Trip with CREW Land & Water Trust
Join us on May 8 for Troopers in the Field at Ariepeka Preserve, a special nature-based homeschool field trip in Hernando County. We’ll be joined by a guest educator from CREW Land & Water Trust for a hands-on exploration of Florida’s coastal ecosystems.
Children will use dip nets, discovery scopes, trays, field guides, and water quality kits to observe aquatic life and investigate the health of the watershed. We’ll also enjoy a short hike and activities focused on watershed conservation, wildlife habitat, and environmental stewardship.
This outdoor homeschool learning experience in Central Florida is designed for curious kids who love nature, science, and hands-on discovery.
