Mariah Battaglia
Mariah is an early educator and certified forest school teacher, yoga instructor, birth doula, and ballet dancer/ instructor.
She has spent her life finding creative ways to connect with children and inspire their growth. Whether through dance, photography, or simply exploring the outdoors, she believes in meeting kids where they are and encouraging their natural curiosity. Her love for movement, art, and nature shines through in everything she does.
Mariah’s experience as a public school substitute teacher showed her the need for outdoor, child-centered spaces where kids can thrive without being measured by test scores. With over a decade of experience working with children and a heart for fostering natural curiosity, Mariah is excited to bring Palmetto + Pine Arts and Learning Community to life in Brooksville, Florida.

Samantha Dominguez
Ms. Sam is an early childhood educator with over 17 years of experience as both a preschool teacher and director. Currently, she serves as an Education Engagement Coordinator, where she supports educators and families in strengthening early learning experiences. She is passionate about creating meaningful, developmentally appropriate environments that inspire young children to learn through play and exploration. Through her leadership and creativity, she strives to make a lasting impact on children, families, and the early childhood community.

Victoria Bryant
Victoria is an educator with a passion for connecting children to nature. With a background in Agricultural Education and experience teaching in both preschool and elementary settings, she has loved integrating nature and exploration into her teaching. She believes that children need more time outdoors to play, explore, and engage with each other. Victoria believes in the community built by Palmetto & Pine, and their ability to give children a say in their own learning!
As an educator and new mother, Victoria is passionate about offering a place where children can grow their confidence and dive into social emotional learning. Not all learning takes place in a traditional classroom, and she believes that the skills that are gained through free play and investigation outdoors will help us raise kind, compassionate members of our community!
