Welcome to Troopers Forest School: An 8-Week Explorer Adventure Course!
For Ages 6-10
Starting June 10th
Join us for an exciting 8-week adventure where your child will become an explorer, delving deep into nature and working on hands-on projects that bring their creativity and curiosity to life! Troopers Forest School invites young adventurers to embark on a journey of discovery, project-based learning, and outdoor exploration, culminating in an Explorer Showcase at the end of the course where students can proudly present their work to family and friends.
Session Details
This 8-week course will be held on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Each week is packed with engaging projects that allow students to explore the wonders of nature, experiment with new ideas, and build meaningful connections to the world around them. At the end of the course, students will showcase their completed projects in a special Explorer Showcase, celebrating everything they’ve learned and created!
Caregivers Stay on Site
Caregivers are required to stay on-site at all times during class. This helps create a supportive, engaged community and allows you to be part of your child's nature adventure!
What to Bring
A water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the morning.
Snacks to keep energy high during our outdoor adventures.
A change of clothes—things can get messy!
Sturdy shoes for walking and exploring the natural world.
A hat and sunscreen for sun protection.
Outdoor blanket for sitting during group activities or relaxation time.
Dive Into the Details
Throughout the 8 weeks, students will work on various projects inspired by the natural world, allowing them to explore different aspects of nature, creativity, and teamwork. From building shelters and experimenting with natural materials to creating art, stories, and science experiments, each week is designed to encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and independent learning.
Projects include:
Nature-based art using natural materials.
Building structures like forts and shelters with sticks, branches, and other found materials.
STEM experiments exploring the forces of nature and outdoor science.
Creative storytelling and role-play, bringing the forest to life through imagination.
At the end of the course, we’ll celebrate all their hard work with the Explorer Showcase, where students will have the opportunity to present their projects and share their discoveries with family and friends.
